Mission Aid Project programs are guided by the dedicated volunteers who serve on our Advisory Council. The council consists of an exemplary group of professionals from all community sectors. We encourage our donors to be a part of this MAP council.
How to Serve on MAP Advisory Council
The Advisory Council is the volunteer leadership arm of Mission Aid Project, Inc. This council advocates and provides critical insight on key issues impacting children and families. The Advisory Council also works hard to ensure and shape the future of Mission Aid Project and those children and families that we serve.
Candidates are sought on a rolling basis. Candidates must have prior experience serving on committees. MAP Advisory Council members serve for a two-year term with a possible third year term by application at the close of the second year. Members attend up to three meetings annually and one monthly 30-minute conference call meeting at a time agreed by all members.
